La casa y sus instalaciones son realmente espectaculares, muy comodas y de acuerdo a lo que se ha publicado en el anuncio. Un caso aparte es el anfitrión de la casa, Antonino, es una persona tremendamente amable y dispuesta ayudar en todo, nos ha recibido con mucha alegría y con un vino blanco frío de la zona para comenzar a gozar las bondades de Praiano. Gracias Antonino por tu generosidad y tremenda actitud, haz hecho de nuestra estadía en Praiano unos días inolvidables para toda nuestra familia. La única advertencia que no se nos ha hecho ha sido la subida a la casa por medio de una escalera muy pronunciada de 300 escalones, que seguramente para un adulto con problemas de movilidad o para niños muy pequeños puede ser un problema importante a la hora de acceder a la casa. Pero como recompensa de esa imponente subida tienes la espectacular vista que tiene toda la casa y la tremenda terraza sobre el mar mediterráneo que esta a los pies del pueblo de Praiano, que es encantador y muy acogedor. “If you're looking for incredible views and a relatively quiet location that is accessible by bus or taxi to all the desirable areas along the Amalfi Coast, Praiano is the place. At Maria's location, Villa de Genestra, be prepared to lug your luggage (and throughout the stay, your body) up and down 37 steep stairs. Our views in both daylight and nighttime were awe-inspiring beyond description. The place was large, quiet and clean. Beds were very comfortable in the two main bedrooms. Bathrooms were sufficient, with a larger version near the master and a smaller one along the main hall. All in all, it was a great stay. ”

A beautiful property. Perched above the charming town of Praiano, this may be the highest house in town. The view is absolutely spectacular! Be aware there is a small price to pay for that amazing view. It is roughly 300 steps from the road below. (Not recommended for anyone with mobility issues). All of Praiano, and any town on the Amalfi Coast is a maze of stairs and alley ways, so navigating and getting anywhere can be a bit of a challenge without GPS or a good sense of direction. All of that aside, the home and grounds were beautiful and extremely well maintained. Rose bushes, lemon trees, flowers and a small vegetable garden were found on the three tiered land of the property. There is a large first floor patio with lounge chairs, dining table, large umbrellas for shade, a charcoal grill, and an outdoor fireplace. This was the perfect spot for relaxing and taking in the coastal view and happenings within the town below. On the second floor there was another patio connecting the two bedrooms with chairs. The interior of the home was immaculate. The first floor consists of a living room with fireplace and TV, dining room with seating for six, a fully stocked kitchen with all necessary appliances and utensils and a first floor bathroom with adjoining laundry. The second floor housed the two bedrooms, one with a queen and one with two twin beds and the second bathroom. You will find air conditioner units in both bedrooms as well as the living room. We booked with Maria, who kept us informed from prebooking to checkout and was available for any questions. On arrival, we met with Antonio who speaks both English and Italian and was extremely kind and helpful, offering to carry up our luggage and find us parking for our vehicle. He explained a few details about the property and recomended ways to get around town as well as places to eat and shop, leaving his phone number should we have any needs or questions.. Upon checkout, we called Antonio and were met at the door to return the keys and for him to assist again with our luggage. His lovely mother who I believe cleans the property also greeted us with a smile and a few pastries as we passed on the stairs down to the road. Very kind.
