We loved our time in Praiano at Maria's place. The house was exactly as pictured and beautiful. Amazing view from the terrace. There are lots of stairs to get anywhere but we knew this and it adds to the charm of this seaside town. The apartment could have been a little better stocked with essentials like toilet paper and there was no shampoo or shower soap which most airbnb's seem to have . But that's a minor issue. Maria was very helpful. She met us in town to show us the way and left us very good information about restaurants and other places. Note many of the restaurants will pick you up and take you home at no charge. We met so many wonderful people, especially Aldo at La Moressa. Be sure to eat there! The same family also owns Windsurf Praiano at the marina, best prices for water taxis to Positano and other excursions. A final note, Praiano is the best place to stay on the Amalfi coast. It is smaller and less touristy than Positano which we visited and is wonderful but not as quaint. Can't wait to return! Tom”

Casa Mare does not disappoint. Spectacular views and a lovely apartment. Very clean, great terrace with a pool and grill. It's in a quiet part of Praiano with bus accessibility to town for those who do not wish to walk. Our host Maria was a true gem. Very welcoming and accessible if needed before and during our time on the Amalfi Coast.

Wonderful house to stay at! ”

We stayed at this villa for 4 nights. The villa was clean and has a fantastic view of the Amalfi Coast. The place looks exactly as shown. Truly a home away from home. Maria, the property manager was very helpful. In terms of convenience, this place is definitely not walking distance to anywhere. But, the grocery store, as well as the restaurants, provide transportation to and from their place. Which was wonderful. There's also a local bus close to the villa which we used regularly during our stay there. We got to know a lot of locals and it was what we wanted to experience. The only con is that, there were 2 couples staying at the villa and we were only provided one set of keys. Other than that, we truly had a memorable and fun experience!

A fantastic spot for quiet and relaxation. Best view, spot clean villa, great food everywhere downtown and surroundings, a - smaller than usual - but absolutely well positioned and much needed pool for great refreshing, a professional service (thank you, Maria !) and impeccable owners (Gennaro, grazie per l'ospitalità!). Definitely the center for both peace & rest or adventurous or relaxing trips to all the fine places in the region. Thanks to high-speed Internet you can plan your trips or visits directly on your pad or phone from the incredibly large and amazing terrace with breathtaking view ! We have spent two magic weeks in Casa Mare! We are thankful for this great time.
