Driving the Amalfi coast was a harrowing experience and once Tony met us and we parked the car, there it remained. Tutto per Tutti will drive you back home with your groceries if you ask, for no extra charge. Keep your eye on closing hours. It is easy to get to the main shopping area from here; walk down to just past San Luca Church and there is a bus stop that takes to the beach at La Praia and the centre of town. There are very good maps at the information centre next to Bar del Sole across from San Gennaro Church. If you want to visit Sorrento or Pompei we suggest that you take the SITA bus from the main road early in the morning as it gets crowded later in the day. This is a beautiful wonder Ulysses wasn\'t lured by the Sirens. We hope you enjoy your stay at Casa Mare as much as we did. God Bless you and Buon Voyage for the rest of your trip. P.S. The seafood was GREAT at Costa Diva!!!! Thank you Tony.

For 2 weeks Casa Mare was our home. We are lucky to have chosen Praiano with its quiet beauty and non-touristy entourage. We have fallen with the view from our terrace and will take it home in many, many pictures. A few hints for future inhabitants of Casa Mare......Food shopping---best place Tutto per Tutti. Restaurants----La Strada, La Brace, Hotel Marguerita We used the boat service at La Sibilla on the beach at La Praia and were more than satisfied with their service. We were disappointed with Capri..too many tourists and little to see.

A great holiday although we were surprised at the elevation of the Amalfi Coast and found parking a problem all along the Amalfi Coast. We enjoyed our week at Casa Mare--the views are stunning and the plunge pool a marvellous respite from the heat. The aircon was very effective and the DVD player an unexpected plus. We found some grocery shopping quite expensive. We ate at Tramonto D'Oro restaurant on our last night and it was excellent.

The best thing about Casa Mare is the stunning view from the terrace and then the plunge pool.We took a boat trip from Positano to Amalfi. It cost 70€ and we got to swim in the sea off the boat into grottoes and caves. We also stopped at a restaurant for a delicious lunch. The trip without lunch is €40 but the meal was spectacular.Seeing the Amalfi Coast from the sea is a must as is swimming off the boat. Our best day here!!!!
