Hi Maria Hope you are well. Here is a the review. I will also add some lovely pictures of the house when I get some time. As you will see, I have left a good review, but feel I have duty to mention the break in for future visitors. Having read the reviews on trip advisor, I knew this was the place that I wanted to stay. I was travelling with my boyfriend, his mother, his sister and his nephew. Maria greeted us in Praiano and guided us to the house. There is one parking place for the house on the side of the road, but you have to walk about 100m back to the entrance of the house. Upon arrival at the house, we were not disappointed, it was as described, if not better. My boyfriend and I stayed in the master bedroom with double doors out onto the terrace. Waking up to those views is something I shall never forget. There are a number of wonderful terraces to enjoy the views, although the weather permitted us from sitting out on some days (April showers). Luca delivered our shopping on most days, which is very helpful as it is almost impossible to park in Praiano. He also arranged for a beautiful birthday cake for my boyfriends birthday, I have to say it was probably one of the best birthday cakes we have tasted, maybe that was because it was enjoyed on the balcony with breakfast on a sunny morrning overlooking those views! The beach is a 5 min walk down the side road and there are some lovely little bars and restaurants, you can see the house from most of them (see pictures). We also enjoyed some lovely walks (Walk of the Gods) and another to Furore. Well worth doing, but quite strenuous, so you do need some level of fitness. This place really is paradise and somewhere I will never forget. It would not stop me returning. PS there is excellent wifi at the property, but you don't really need it given the views that you have to look at.

Dear Maria Thank you so much for all your help and for making our stay in Italy so lovely. It was great to meet you. We had a wonderful time staying in Villa Benedetta, and you were so kind and welcoming it made the trip really special. The villa was everything we could have hoped for and is a truly special place to be. We will be sure to use you again if we visit the Amalfi coast in the future. Thank you again for everything. We were so pleased with our choice! Exactly as the pictures shown on the site. The views of Positano and Capri from our long balcony and private terrace were simply exquisite. Only 50 stairs lead you to the apartment, not many in comparison to other places. You actually get used to them! The apartment was immaculate. It is very well located to get to all of the coast cities - Maiori, Minori, Ravello, Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento. Quaint little town and peaceful (at night). The apartment is located on the main road of the Coast so it does get busy and loud (buses honking) during the day, but we were out most days. It is very quiet at night - by 10 pm. The bus stop is a few meters away so there was no need for a car. The owners Marissa and Rafaelle took great care of us. We were surprised several times with Marissa's wonderful baking and fruits & veggies from their garden. The most caring and sweet people you can possibly meet. Loved, loved, loved this place. Hope to return some day.

October 2, 2013 - This villa was actually as beautiful when seen live as it looked in the photos... and that is rarely the case with anything. The long walk to the town and beach makes it not a place for everyone... and Positano itself is a bit of a (beautiful) bore and a tourist trap... but we all thought the villa itself was simply outstanding. The bedroom could use a bit more closet space (or maybe just more hangers and shelves). The owners were very sweet and brought us lemon cake for dessert after one of our big meals on the last night there. We loved the dogs (especially Sara) and took them in on a stormy night. Finding you folks was by accident... but we liked the personal attention, the phone calls and help we got finding a villa that fit our needs. Ambra House was idyllic in many ways.

We really enjoyed our time at La Cala del Maro. The place was much larger than we expected and included everything we needed for a turnkey vacation. There is a little market with everything we needed for our stay within a 10 minute walk. The place was very private and the pool was awesome, with a neat little area down by the pool for grilling burgers, etc. Maria is the best. Super easy to work with and very trustworthy.

"Excellent Villa and Location!" My family of 4 and another family of 4 stayed in this villa from Aug 3 to 8, 2013. It is exactly like the pictures and is a wonderful place to stay. It is perfect for two families - because there are two separate sides to it yet they are adjoining with two kitchens, 4 washrooms and 4 bedrooms and 2 washing machines. We spent a lot of time out on the deck overlooking the ocean from the chaise lounge chairs and cold tub. The location is awesome too - a short 10 minute walk to town, along the scenic coast. We loved staying at Ambra. The owners were wonderful, so kind and helpful and caring, and everything about the villa was fantastic. I would return and recommend to all my friends. The owners did a beautiful job of welcoming us and looking after us, I am very happy with the service and your company and will use you again.

8 of us were staying in Villa Positano in early May 2013.. The view from the villa blown us away and the warm welcome from Nicolas and Maria are still fresh in our memory. The villa is new and have everything we need, from the clean bed and bath, washing maschine, kitchen appliances, a whirlpool and fantastic view. We cook and have a "big family" breakfast everyday with no problem. The kitchen is more than descent. The villa is located in the main road and is a walking distance to the heart of Positano. It was an easy and pleasant stay. We missed the villa greatly and definitely missed Maria and Nicolas as well..
