As with the other reviews, this was a lovely and comfortable home away from home with two rooms with double beds, a room with twin beds and a single room (suitable for a child). We had no difficulty with meeting the host either on arrival or departure and every recommendation she gave us was spot on - right down to calling the supermarket for transport to pick up groceries and pizza delivery! We cooked two nights as you could not beat the view from the balcony, including dolphin watching one evening. You can get to Amalfi, Ravello, Capri and Positano with ease, either by water taxi, bus or taxi. It is also the perfect spot to tackle the Path of the Gods walk, approx. 3.5 hrs from the Villa to Nocelle. Try to pack light as the stairs up to the villa will require some effort, but the view is worth it.

Praiano was the perfect location. Much quieter than other towns. Villa was close to some good restaurants and the local supermarket. Not as many steps as some Villas. The villa itself was perfect size for our group of 6, it was clean and well presented.

We had an unbelievable time in Positano. The house was beautiful and Maria and our hosts were so incredibly accommodating. They welcomed us even though we arrived late and chatted with us about restaurants and other points of interest. By the time we left, they felt like part of our family. We are already planning for our return!!

The house was everything we imagined and more! In a dreamy location – a true paradise. Maria, our host was friendly and extremely helpful. It was a magical experience. Thank you and we hope to be back soon.

Firstly, a big thank you to Maria for suggesting Villa Marina di Praia for our trip - one of the best decisions of our holiday to Italy! Maria (owner) was great at communicating before our stay and met us at the house on arrival. He kindly provided a number of suggestions about the area and was always available by phone as needed. Couldn't ask for more. As for the villa, it is in a spectacular spot overlooking the sea. It is a few flights of stairs up to the main road (for buses to other parts of the Amalfi) and a similar number of stairs down to the water. While there isn't the same options for restaurants and bars as you will get in places like Positano, if you want a beautiful beach, great outlook down the coast and a more 'local' little town, you will love this place. Inside the villa is very spacious, all bedrooms are large with really nice ensuites, and the outside terrace is where we spent many, many hours. From our experience, I couldn't recommend it more highly and would go back without hesitation (we spent a week there).

Maria was outstanding! She was very easy to communicate with, her responses were speedily sent. She got in contact with our driver and directed him to her villa. Maria spent about an hour with us showing us around the house and guiding us through a map of Praiano that was extremely detailed. Whenever there we had a question she responded immediately, she even came to the house to assist us. I HIGHLY recommend using Maria for any property she works with. Also, I HIGHLY recommend the Villa la Scogliera, in my opinion this villa has one of the nicest views on all of the Amalfi Coast, it's very private. No one can see on the porch because of trees and the cliff eventhough you have a panoramic view of the sea. My wife and I couldn't have been more happy with our choice. We were in Italy for two and a half weeks, this villa was probably the greatest highlight. You won't find a better villa for this price and view. Transportation is a little difficult in Praiano but once you learn the routes it's not a big deal. The villa is too beautiful to pass up.

The house was amazing and had an absolutely spectacular view! It really does look like the photos and it was probably one of the best views we had the whole trip. We had all the information we needed from maria and checking in and out was easy.

Having spent a week at Villa Nicola I would like to thank the hosts Maria and Nicola for a lovely stay, they were both very helpful and attentive. The villa was very pleasant, and had a great view. As advertised, it was a 10 minute walk to Positano, with the bus stop right at the door. The only negative thing however, was that the balcony was situated overlooking the main coastal road that was quite noisy at times. Also, the master bedroom opened on the same balcony hence, not very quiet. Overall, staying at the villa was very enjoyable.
