“Praiano is a nice quieter alternative to the bigger and busier Positano. The house is lovely — clean, spacious (we are 2 adults and 2 kids) and had everything we needed. It is located high up on the hill with absolutely breathtaking views over the ocean and Positano. Perfect to sit in the morning and at sunset with a glass of wine. Be warned though, the view comes at the cost of a LOT of stairs up from the main road, I think we counted 700 in total!! It was a solid walk up for us, and we consider ourselves a fairly fit, young family! There was parking available on the first road below (about 300 steps!). Antonio, who greeted us was fantastic, he met us in the town when we arrived and we followed him up to the house. He very kindly helped us with our luggage — a word of advice, pack light! If you don't mind the climb Silvia House is fantastic and highly recommended Plus, there is the option of the local bus and taxi should you want an easier way back up.”

Wonderful place to stay The view from the balcony is spectacular. It seemed to get better everyday. The apartment was well kept. The kitchen could use a few more cooking items; however, we did not really cook in. There were a couple of the restaurants that had free shuttle service, which was wonderful. The deli also delivered and the food was fabulous. It was not a very far walk from the city center once you got use to walking on the busy curvy roads. We did not mind it after the first day. We did have Internet issues for a couple of days which stressed some in our group; however, I didn't mind, as it forced me to disconnect. It was back up the last couple of days. Our hosts were wonderful and Rosa was very informative.

The view of both towns is outstanding! You can even see parts of Capri from the balcony. The house is very near the bus stop. It is situated near Praiano. Going to other towns was very easy. The house is large and has plenty of space. Maria makes good recommendations which was helpful otherwise we would not have seen some of the towns we definitely were glad we stopped at. It was an excellent stay on the Amalfi Coast. Thanks!”

This place was awesome!!! The views were beautiful!!!The house was perfect!!-The stairs were not an issue for us!We made light of it and my 12 year old loved running up them!And counting them.We took breaks along the way.The weather was beautiful!I loved the lemon tree and fresh herbs!!! “Lovely accommodation, and great views. Maria extremely helpful when we couldn't find the house, perhaps they could look at making a meeting place a little more visible, e.g. correct numbering of address or visible name of house. Lovely mini market close by. All in all, a fantastic place to stay”

The best part about the villa is the amazing views! The location is secluded and romantic. I love how the local businesses will pick you up. Towels are starch, no paper towels, no napkins. The tile was gorgeous. The place itself was no frills but again the location was just amazing. It was a pleasure to meet Maria and hear here recommendations. She was easy to communicate with. The view from Villa Maria is amazing! All the bedrooms and the bath open to the deck which looks out over the water! It is clean and comfortable! Praiano is a wonderful little town with very few tourists and friendly locals. We walked down the street to Tutto x Tutti for groceries and to La Morena for cappuccinos in the morning and dinner in the evening!

“Beautiful spacious airy apartment with knock out views across the sea - massive veranda and the best bathroom I've ever seen. Really clean and lovely. There's a great restaurant 5 minutes away and a supermarket 2 minutes from that. 15 minute walk down to a fantastic swim area with restaurants and kudos - Praiano is a wonderful holiday spot. Killer walk back uphill and parking a problem but I'd go back in a heartbeat.”
