If you like a quiet, reserved, authentic and simple atmosphere, Villa La tranquillita is an ideal destination.
It has recently been renovated and boasts all creature comforts. It is located in the historical centre of the town and can easily be reached by car ; there is a paid public parking lot nearby. There is a magnificent, furnished terrace with a breathtaking view overlooking one of the most spectacular parts of the Amalfi Coast.
Villa La Tranquillità offers the possibility to penetrate and explore the oldest part of town . Little streets, hidden walkways, little chapels and gardens surround the property which is ideal for relaxation and comfort. It is composed of 3 double bedrooms , a fully furnished kitchen, 2 bathrooms and living area.
The centre of town and bus stops connecting to Positano and all major points is a short walk away. You can have groceries delivered to your door and the centre of Praiano offers all essential services. The kind, experienced homeowner is always eager to help out, be it with tourist information, fresh produce from his garden or the freshest eggs from his chickens. There is internet speed , swimming-pool, satellite television, air conditioning and all appliance are modern.

Reviews of Villa la Tranquillita
We booked as a group of 4 friends for a short stay in Praiano. The flat is situated on top of Praiano, with beautiful views of the coast line, sunrise & super yacht. There is a bus stop near the flat for the local service, that being said service is a bit limited outside of day time. You can access most restaurant and shops going down steps (get your cardio for free). Most restaurant can book you a taxi back to the flat. Luca, our host, gave us plenty of local contacts to make for an efficient stay. The flat is equipped with AC, the view from the pool is exquisite, and eating on the balcony was great. The beds are made + fresh towels provided. The check out process was so easy: take out the trash and close the door! The flat was just missing a couple of "starter pack" for cooking (oils, salt, etc) but apart from that all good. We would book again!
Luca is so responsive and attentive. He helped us out with everything! The place is nice and comfortable for a family of 6. Grazie Luca!
The house has beautiful views and is well appointed. The outdoor decks are lovely for coffee and breakfast. the 2 double bedrooms are lovely with great views. the 3rd bedroom is a bit cave like, small - no window at all- and 2 single beds. Its a long walk to the top of the hill and too the beach but we didn't mind that, its such a pretty village. The beach is nice and lovely restaurants. we got a water taxi one day to Amalfi town which was really fun. but I don't recommend the town itslef. crazy busy and impossible to get on a bus!
Very helpful co host, Tina. Lots of restaurant and activity recommendations. Checked in 3 hrs before official check in time. Which we were very grateful for. Also dropped us off at our chosen lunch location. Went beyond her responsibilities to help us
Luca really takes care of you, he provides you with an abundance of contacts making sure you have transportation and grocery service, he helps you get your luggage up the stairs! Could not have asked for a better host!! The places views are incredible, the walk down to the beach is 20-30 mins but there is also a bus that runs and will take you! I loved the little terrace a beautiful place to have breakfast! All around great place and would recommend!
