We stayed in Positano for 3 nights. Our view was amazing and our location was right near the bus stop. Maria met us to give us the keys and fill us in on details about the property and answered questions about area restaurants etc. She also arranged transportation for us to Rome. The apartment was clean and comfortable. There was no living room space but we really didn't stay in the apartment much anyway. There is a large outdoor space with lounge chairs and tables. We would recommend this apartment to family and friends.

Villa Amanda is truly amazing. The views from the two terraces and the roof do not disappoint. The pool is a great relief from the summer heat, and it is very kid friendly (the pool terrace has a separate gate) if you are traveling with children. The interiors are minimal, but you have everything you need. The bedrooms are on two floors, and the photos do not do the smaller upstairs bedroom justice. It is small, but opens on to a huge roof top that makes it feel much larger. The bathrooms are what you expect in Italy. Downstairs has only a hand held shower, and upstairs is small. Mr. Luigi was there to help us check in and helped with our bags, which was appreciated. If you are traveling with small children, or have trouble climbing many, many stairs, this villa may not be right for you. The closest grocery (Tutto per Tutti) is the best in town, but you still have over a 50 steps to get there! There are some fantastic restaurants near by, but the Main Street is quite far down the hill. I would love to come back to this villa. Praiano is still a small Italian town, where people say buongiorno on the street and most of the people you come across are locals, not tourists. It's also very easy to get to Positano if you want a beach day, as the beaches in Praiano are very small and basic by comparison. If you're looking for a sanctuary away from the Amalfi craziness, this town and villa will be a prefect location for a relaxing vacation!

We had a lovely stay at Maria's. She was so nice and drove down to help us find the apartment. The view is incredible. The apartment was clean and everything was very fresh and new. It's in a very peaceful part of town and everyone's so friendly. Great food and shops close by. The only things to note was the main bed was much too hard for my husband and I. We did struggle sleeping. Other than that it was a true delight. If you're an adventurer I highly recommend staying here, as the stairs are tricky.

We loved this place! We spend 4 days in august, family of 5 with 3 kids. The house is perfect, perfectly located on the Amalfi coast : quite isolated and very quiet (we had no neighbor in august!). 10 min walk to the see (have to like climbing up stairs to come back). Fantastic view from the house, the main bedroom and the terrace. Praiano is for us the ultimate place to visit Amalfi coast : away from the high touristic activity, but close to everything. Enjoy!

We just returned from staying 6 nights at Villa Nicola and it was a wonderful experience which exceeded our expectations! The villa is newly renovated with a large terrace which has amazing views of Positano and the sea, and is closely situated to the central Positano pedestrian area (appox. 15 minutes walking and 5 minutes on Sita bus). The villa owners Nicola and Angela cooked us an amazing Italian meal one evening and they and Maria (who handles check-in) came around daily to visit with us and made sure we had everything we needed. Our visit to Positano was made even more memorable through our stay at villa Nicola. We hope to make it stay there and see Nicola and Angela again in the future!

We felt right at home at this house! The couple who helped us with our luggage was so kind and welcoming. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and several discount cards to various restaurants!
