Beautiful views and spacious apartment We loved our time in Praiano! This apartment was part of the whole experience! It was a LONG ways up to it but it brought a lot of hard breathing and laughs! I would recommend paying the extra to have your bags brought up for you. We have two boys, one is 25 and the other is 17 and in great shape and it was a lot for them to carry our luggage up. The steps are a lot. We made sure we only had to climb them once a day. The beds are good European firm beds. We have found that most of the beds in Italy are very firm. It is a spacious place. Views are incredible! We rented scooters to buzz around. That is quite the experience! We were so glad we did. Crazy though! We were glad when we made it back in one piece.

Beautiful View!!! This is a great property and a great host! The house was clean, spacious, and had stunning views. Please note that there are a lot of stairs to get to this property, so be prepared for some exercise! (This is pretty common for most properties in this area)

My family and I recently stayed at Silvia's house in Praiano. It was peaceful and comfy and had the most beautiful views you can imagine from the two terraces. Antonino was wonderful getting us settled in, and we had everything we needed in the house. Keep in mind that the house is 300 steps from the upper road in town, but almost 700, yes 700, steps from the lower road which is where most restaurants and gathering spots are. I highly recommend taking the bus or a cab to the upper road rather than trying to tackle the 700, which we did the first evening (and never again!). We really loved the home though and it was totally worth it to climb the 300 steps to get a real sense of life on the Amalfi coast and the gorgeous sea view. Recommended: La Strada and La Brace restaurants, Bar del Sole and the unbelievably lovely Plaghia boat tour of the coast. We already can't wait to go back!

Beautiful, private home with stunning views of the coast. This property was well worth the "built-in" exercise program previously mentioned in a separate review. While it was challenging to get up & down the stairs with two large, heavy suite cases and backpacks, we were assisted by Maria the entire way up and greeted with a complimentary bottle of water & wine. Without luggage it was very manageable as long as you are in fair physical shape. I would not recommend for people who have difficulty walking long distances. The home is spacious and well-cleaned. The property manager "Antonino" speaks very good English and provides numerous documents describing bus routes, restaurants recommendations, etc. which was very helpful & appreciated. The shower was one of the larger & warmer ones we enjoyed while traveling around the different regions of Italy. The local beach is very simple to get to and was one of our favorite parts of the trip, along with the delicious fresh pasta & seafood in town. If you are bothered by ants, I would suggest packing some traps, but other than that we had no complaints. It is a hidden gem and we hope to be fortunate enough to visit again in the future!
