Casa Mare is located in the historical centre of Praiano overlooking the promontory of the ancient Plagianum.
The property overlooks one of the most beautiful panoramas of the Amalfi Coast, is well furnished and offers all modern comforts.
The guest book for the property is full of praises for the breathtaking views from the large terrace and the peace and quiet that reigns in this part of the town. It is the ideal spot for spending private moments with friends and loved ones.
There are 3 bedrooms, two double bedrooms and one bedrooms with twice beds,two bathrooms, kitchen and living area with sofa bed 2 place. For a total of eight beds.
Casa Mare is equipped with air conditioning and internet speed.
There is a small swimming pool in the garden making it difficult to leave home.
Casa Mare is run by a proprietor known for his hospitality and courtesy.
The centre of town and all essential services, as well as the beaches can be reached by a short walk to the bus that serves the town and connects to Positano.
There is public street parking at the entrance to the property.

“There was 6 of us, the place was fantastic, the views are amazing and the amenities worked very well. We enjoyed dips in the pool and the sunset each night. We went to the Costa Diva restaurant on the night we arrived, as recommended by Maria - picked up and dropped off for free by Pilippo. Our parents preferred to hang out at the house. Thanks Maria, for also taking our calls regarding transport.”

“The view from Casa Mare is spectacular. After a long day of sightseeing and beach roaming, it was wonderful to come back to the house and relax in the dipping pool and watch the stars at night. Maria was wonderful in providing contacts for the local grocery and restaurants. The grocery store picked us up and dropped us off after we finished shopping Multiple times. Maria was a wonderful host Who was available whenever we had questions.” Maria, thank you so much for your hospitality during our visit. “Casa Mare, was a beautiful home at the top of Praiano. The balcony was the highlight of the villa. Maria and owner were both vary accommodating and accessible evening facilitating rides to and from the grocery store. They shared a ton of local info (food delivery options, bus schedules, excursions, taxis, etc). The place was very nice and clean. The first day there was an issue with the wifi, that Maria and owner worked hard to resolve ASAP. Praiano is a beautiful city where the people were very friendly quieter than some of the other towns in the Amalfi Coast, but also much less touristy (in the best way). Given that Case Mare is on the top of the hill it can be challenging to get around without navigating a lot of stairs and uphill climbs (40 min walk down to the beach) if you don't have a car. There is a local bus stop that is close by but the buses run about ever 45 mins and we were able to navigate the buses to Positano too. If you are looking to be in a more central area it may not be the right option but if you are looking for a quite place to enjoy family and friends then it is perfect.
