Information about the villa

Villa Aristide is situated in the upper part of Praiano. It can easily be reached by car and there is covered parking available in the small piazza beside the entrance. The original old structure, which probably was part of a convent, has been recently renovated and divided into two separate independent parts, one of which is occasionally occupied by the owner. Both have independent gardens and entrances.
The exterior of Villa Aristide has a very elegant appearance; the high quality furnishings inside the house are extremely comfortable.
From the garden as well as the large terrace which is furnished with dining table and chairs, Villa Aristide offers a spectacular view of the sea and the Gulf of Salerno. Grocery stores are located a comfortable 10 minute walk along the typical alleys of the town. A pleasant ½ hr walk down old stairways and quiet lanes leads to the pebble beach La Praia and a romantic and scenic pathway carved out of the rock.
Here there are several excellent restaurants, boat rental services and a scuba diving school.
During summer, there is a convenient and comfortable bus service to the beach from the town.
Positano is approximately 7 km away and can be reached by public transport, thus eliminating parking problems.
Praiano is a quiet town, complete with all services and its central location makes it ideal for visiting the entire Amalfi Coast.
Villa Aristide is approximately 200 sq. metres.
There are beds for 6 persons plus a double sofa-bed.
The fully furnished living area has a satellite TV and a stereo with CD player. There are 2 modern bathrooms, both of which reflect the general high quality of the villa. There are large terraces with spectacular views and a beautiful swimming pool.
